In November 2024, the Designers’ Talks of the Association of German Landscape Architects (bdla) will take place for the sixth time. This year, the focus is on new aesthetics that are needed in architecture and landscape architecture in times of climate change. All landscape architects who are active in design can register.

“We have to rethink: leave our own comfort zone and question the images and processes we are used to,” says the bdla. According to the association, in times of climate change with all its manifestations, a new way of thinking and aesthetics are needed in architecture and landscape architecture for public open spaces and buildings. Design will also be scrutinized at the 6th bdla Designers’ Talks on November 1 and 2 in Berlin in order to find out more about the changing processes and the path to the built work.
All landscape architects who work in design and have an interest in the challenges of climate change are invited to the talks. Some of the talks will be held in English. The bdla has applied for recognition as an advanced training course by the Chamber of Architects and participants will receive a bdla advanced training certificate. Registration is possible here until October 18.
