Architects can do more!

Baumeister StudentDay at the BAU trade fair

How do architecture students imagine their future professional life? How can they plan their own career? Which qualifications are decisive for their future career? Students from several German architecture universities will be discussing these and other aspects at the BAU trade fair in Munich on January 23.

In cooperation with Messe München and the Bundesarbeitskreis Altbausanierung (BAKA), the Baumeister will be discussing future prospects for the profession of architect with students in several workshops.

StudentDay begins at 9.30 a.m. with a keynote speech by BDA Managing DirectorThomas Welter on the topic of “Architects can do more”. Afterwards, Prof. Tobias Wallisser from LAVA Architekten (Berlin/Stuttgart), David Meuer, spokesman for the Young Architects Working Group of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects and BDA Managing Director Thomas Welter (Berlin) will discuss career paths and future prospects for architects. Following the discussion, the students will explore various career prospects in groups.
