Craft businesses, architects, private building owners and those active in the preservation of historical monuments in Baden-Württemberg can now apply for the “Federal Award for Craftsmanship in the Preservation of Historical Monuments 2019”, which is endowed with 15,000 euros
For the third time, the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts and the German Foundation for Monument Protection are awarding the “Federal Prize for Skilled Crafts in the Preservation of Monuments” in Baden-Württemberg. Every year, two federal states honor exemplary craftsmanship measures for the preservation of monuments. Crafts businesses, architects, builders and private individuals from Baden-Württemberg who go to great lengths to preserve their monuments can apply for the prize worth a total of 15,000 euros. “The prize honors all those who are highly committed to preserving our cultural monuments: The businesses in the state that have rendered outstanding services to the preservation of cultural monuments with their knowledge and qualifications, but also private monument owners for their tireless efforts and commitment to their monument. This commitment once again demonstrates the sustainability of monument preservation,” said
and Housing Minister Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut.
Application documents must be submitted by June 2. The national prize, which is awarded in Baden-Württemberg together with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Housing, the State Office for Monument Preservation, the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects, the Chamber of Crafts and the eight Chambers of Crafts in the state, will be presented in November.
