The idea behind “Schuko” is simple, but so smart that it was awarded the Audience Award at IFA: a socket with a child safety lock that also has a USB port for charging digital devices. This means that fiddling around with different power adapters and charging cables is now a thing of the past: simply connect the USB cable from your cell phone, tablet, digital camera, navigation device or MP3 player – and you’re done. Another highlight: both slots can be used simultaneously.
