BURR has taken the industrial heritage of the city of Madrid to heart in order to avoid demolition and to cope with the housing shortage. The Eulalia Gil was a warehouse with many unclaimed objects. The space was fitted out with a collection of the new occupant and a small room was developed with a staircase and doorway. The bathroom and bedroom have thus gained intimacy. Burr is an experimental architecture studio in Madrid run by Elena Fuertes, Ramón Martínez, Álvaro Molins and Jorge Sobejano.
