The call for applications for a general commissioner/curator for the German contribution to the 16th Architecture Biennale in Venice 2018 (curated by Grafton) is open. A negotiated procedure with prior public invitation to participate is planned. The call for proposals is being carried out by the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development (BBSR) on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Building.
Responsibility for the content of the German contribution in Venice is assigned to a general commissioner or curator on a rotating basis with each Biennale. He or she is appointed following an open competition for the best exhibition concept on the recommendation of a commission of experts.
