The “Tectus Glas” hinge system from Simonswerk offers a comprehensive hardware solution for all-glass doors. For the first time, the door leaf and frame are on the same level – creating a continuous and minimalist look. The patented hinge technology is barely visible and offers reliable and durable functionality thanks to the stable hinge kinematics. It is used for glass doors in the interior fittings of residential and commercial buildings on wooden, steel and aluminum frames.

A magnetic lock and several handles are available to match the hinge technology. The hardware components are installed using an easy-to-install clamping and plug-in system; no glass processing is required on the door leaf. Another advantage is the opening angle of 180°.

The central cemetery in Ingelheim am Rhein was designed by Bayer & Strobel Architekten and includes a new funeral hall. Light-colored quarry stone walls made of local yellow-grey natural stone from Traco lend the area a friendly atmosphere despite its rather depressing use. Two roof areas of the hall were clad with travertine quarry stone. A total of 2,000 m² of special travertine quarry from the Swabian Alb was used. Building with natural stone has finally shed its martial image.
