As part of the contemporary home renovation project “Hermon” by Australian architecture firm Wowowa, a unique kitchen was created in collaboration with Basis Builders. A polished concrete prep bench cast on site rests on a powder-coated steel plinth, providing stability and a modern aesthetic. The design is complemented by fine steel shelving, terrazzo tiles and joinery in Bayleaf by Laminex, which together create a harmonious and stylish color palette for this family home. The Hermon House project has been shortlisted for the Australian Institute of Architects Award in the Residential Architecture – Houses (Alterations & Additions) category for Wowowa Architecture. With a strong focus on comfort and playfulness, this project offers a high quality of life and a charming aesthetic that makes the home both functional and inviting.
