The Bavarian regional group of the bdla awarded the Bavarian Landscape Architecture Prize for the first time on January 20. Entries will be accepted until February 28. After the pre-selection by a specialist jury, the members of the bdla Bavaria will choose the winner via online voting.
The Bavarian Regional Group of the Association of German Landscape Architects (bdla) has announced the Bavarian Landscape Architecture Prize for the first time.
The competition is intended to honor projects and plans in Bavaria that are characterized by innovative and sustainable outdoor and landscape spaces of high quality, both in new and existing buildings. The bdla Bayern expressly encourages the younger generation of planners to take part in the competition.

Jury

Two-stage award procedure: Online voting
In a first step, the jury makes a selection of the submitted projects, which are then assessed by an independent specialist journalist on site. Only then does the jury decide on three nominations per category.
In a second step, the members of the bdla Bavaria vote for their favorites in an online voting.
Award ceremony
The award ceremony will take place on October 23, 2020 in Munich. The public announcement of the winners will be made directly after the award ceremony on the website below.
