Landscape Architecture Prize NRW
The North Rhine-Westphalian Landscape Architecture Prize, first awarded in 2004, is presented every two years and showcases the achievements of North Rhine-Westphalian landscape architects. In cooperation with Baukultur Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V., the entries are presented in exhibitions and print products. The 2024 prize not only evaluates classic object planning, but also conceptual, green planning, landscape planning, urban planning and climate-effective projects. Offices in the bdla are invited to submit entries that can be presented on a DIN A1 sheet and with a short text through clever preparation and elaboration of the unique selling points.
The criteria for the evaluation include high-quality, socially and ecologically oriented urban, open space and landscape development. The sponsors of the 2024 prize are Lorberg Quality Plants GmbH & Co KG, RINN Beton- und Naturstein GmbH & Co KG and Verband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau NRW e.V.
Participation
Members of the Association of German Landscape Architects (bdla) are eligible to participate. In addition, the submitted project must have been realized or worked on in North Rhine-Westphalia. The projects may be up to eight years old, but may not have already been submitted to previous calls. Each participant may submit up to two entries.
The deadline for submissions is January 26, 2024. Please note: There will be no extension.
