Sopro Bauchemie had already prepared for the upcoming BAU 2021 in Munich and was looking forward to impressing existing and new customers. However, the company has now announced that, in the management’s view, effective communication with customers at BAU 2021 is impossible due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For this reason, the company will not participate in the trade show in January.

Furthermore, the company fears that a large portion of its target customer base, both domestic and international, will not attend the trade show. This is confirmed by numerous reports from the market, the industry, and Sopro’s sales network. In addition, the health and safety of its own employees is the company’s top priority. Since it is likely that additional health risks will arise in January due to seasonal factors, the company has decided not to travel to the event. However, Sopro Bauchemie affirms that it remains a strong supporter of BAU and pledges to participate in the next edition of the trade show.
