The Grasse project, located near the Côte d’Azur, north of Cannes, exudes Mediterranean flair. Interior designer Victoria Douyere redesigned a 280-square-metre traditional home there, focusing on light tones, modern elements and Mediterranean eye-catchers. The small seating area adjoining the kitchen with a view of the garden exudes a very special charm. Here, wooden chairs made by a French furniture manufacturer with wicker seats reminiscent of model 77 – the Scandinavian classic by Niels O. Møller from 1959 – meet a modern travertine table. The open room design creates a bright, friendly atmosphere, which is emphasized by the white ceilings and walls, as well as the white concrete floor.
