Turning old into new

This year, Charlotte Carrasco created a modern, minimalist office in Ajaccio. The space, which was refurbished from a gutted 20th century building, is characterized by the predominant materials used – metal, concrete, glass and lime plaster. Raw elements such as the old concrete pillars from the gutted building were retained and complemented by textured lime plaster walls. The high ceilings emphasize the bright and open spatial effect. The open atmosphere is also emphasized by the many floor-to-ceiling glass walls and doors, and the natural light is distributed evenly throughout the space. The office is furnished with timeless desks from USM, among other things, which blend in perfectly stylistically. The black and white striped chairs with metal frames from Tecta are also a visual highlight.
